For sure, it’s different this year, but that feeling of accomplishment and community can still be yours! You have another few days to do the Frederick Summer Solstice 8K – and registration is still open. Proceeds benefit Blessings in a Backpack, Frederick, MD.

Our free (for members) Independence 5000 is this weekend. Include a 5k in your holiday plans, anytime July 4-5. Wear your red, white, & blue and post a photo for a chance to win a prize.

Next up is the beloved Run for the Pie 10K. Again – this low-key race is free for club members. We won’t be exchanging pies, but we hope you’ll put on your apron and do some baking for yourself and your family. Complete your 10k the weekend of July 18th and post photos! We might have a prize for you!

The Frederick Women’s Distance Festival 5K (August 1 – August 9) is a big one! Our community of women is strong in their commitment to fun, fitness, and friendship. And we are generous in support of women in Frederick who are struggling – especially this year. Proceeds benefit The Women’s Giving Circle of Frederick County, Maryland.

Frederick Market Street Mile is going long this year! Run a speedy virtual mile, or rack up the Miles (and Miles) on a virtual tour of covered bridges in our area. You have all of September and October to meet your challenge. Proceeds benefit our own Lincoln Elementary School Panther Running Club and City Youth Matrix.
