Banana Split 5K

The Banana Split 5K Run benefits the FR Mobility Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization that awards grants to families/individuals toward the purchase of a wheelchair accessible vehicle. Held at the former Wakefield Valley Golf Course, the 5K course is unique as the runners will be split and run the same course in opposite directions. Since this event benefits individuals who are wheelchair dependent, a one mile walk/push course (Wheelchair Peel) is featured for wheelchair dependent participants and their family.

There will be post run refreshments and awards to runners based on specific categories. Friendly’s of Westminster is handing out coupons for a free banana split sundae and other discounts redeemed at that location.
