JFK 50 Mile 19 Aid Station

Come out and cheer on the runners at the FSRC JFK Mile 19 Aid station! Last year our aid station was awarded second place among the 14 aid stations! Yes – we’re pretty wonderful!
Our aid station is located at Lock 34 on the C&O canal.
To get there, take U.S. 340 to the traffic light just before you cross the river and make a left onto Valley/Keep Tryst Rd. Follow Keep Tryst Rd. to a right onto Sandy Hook Rd. Follow under 340 and past the RR tunnel and past the trail entrance to Maryland Heights until you reach Hoffmaster Rd. on the right. Once past Hoffmaster Rd. there is a little parking area on the left. That’s where we meet.
However: the parking area at the aid station is extremely small and is reserved for those volunteers arriving with bulky/heavy supplies. (You know who you are). Everyone else should park elsewhere (parking along the road at Maryland Heights or Sandy Hook or about a mile walk to Harpers Ferry using the foot bridge and the towpath).
