Crib Crawl 5k

Frederick County Department of Social Services is committed to advocating for the safety and well-being of children and families. In partnership with the Maryland Association of Social Service Boards, FCDSS is hosting a 5K, 1 mile fun run, and silent auction to raise funds to help reduce safety risks to children in Frederick County through the purchase of pack-n-plays and medication lock boxes.

The race will be held at Ballenger Creek Park in Frederick, MD. It will primarily be an off road race. Prizes for the 5K will be awarded to the overall male and female and the top age category winners. Shirts will be provided to the first 100 people that register (different shirt sizes will be available on a first come first serve basis). Each participant will be entered into a drawing for door prizes.

Registration/bib pick up: 7:00am-7:50am

5K Start Time: 8:00am

Awards for 5K: 9:00am

1 Mile Fun Run: 9:30am

Children’s Games: 8:00am-10:30am ($5.00)

Silent Auction: Ends at 10:30am (items to be announced)
