Battlefield Half Marathon

Experience all the beauty of fall in the Shenandoah Valley running in the area’s premier half marathon. At 13.1 miles the race is welcoming for casual runners but still provides a challenge for more seasoned participants. The starting line is located in historic Kernstown Battlefield with the majority of the course following scenic Middle Road and country roads through Frederick County. The race concludes with an exciting finish in Creekside Station. Entry also includes a pre-race expo the night before the race (location TBD). Come meet with fellow runners while also learning about new gear in the sport from all of our top flight sponsors. The expo will also allow you to pick up your swag bag, moisture-wicking shirt, and race bib, allowing for a stress free morning of the race.

Not yet up for doing all of the 13.1 miles on your own? Grab a group of friends or co- workers and put together a two or four person relay team and come join the fun. The kids are involved too, put together a family team or let the kid’s team up with friends to compete in our youth bracket. All participants will receive a medal at the conclusion of the race and all of age participants can join us for a complimentary beverage at IJCANNS to celebrate the day’s festivities. This event is truly for everyone!
