Spook Hill sold out yet again in 2023. Make sure you don’t get left out of the 2024 event!
Come out and enjoy our 4-mile (or 3-mile for walkers) hybrid road/cross country course that winds through historic Burkittsville (yes, that Blair Witch town), Boordy’s South Mountain Vineyard, historic Burkittsville Union Cemetery, farmland owned by South Mountain Creamery, and the Distillery Lane Ciderworks’ orchard.
***FSRC Grand Prix and Equalizer Series Event***
Walkers welcome!
Walkers will be untimed and travel through town, Boordy’s vineyard, the cemetery, and farmland and return to the Ruritan. You’ll get the same finisher’s awards (and Spook Hill “specials” at participating establishments) as the 4-milers and you can explore the orchard on your own after our awards ceremony.
Finisher’s Awards for Runners and Walkers: All finishers will receive one of our traditional wine glasses AND a finisher’s medal.
Visit the participating wineries/cideries/eateries on the Spook Hill Tasting Trail after you run. Boordy Vineyards will be on-site offering tastings and sales. DLC, which is across the street from race HQ, will open at 9:45. Antietam Creek Vineyards, Orchid Cellar, and Willow Oaks are all expected back on the Spook Hill Tasting Trail in 2024! See the race website’s Post-Run Page for details, hours, and dates of operation. Details are subject to change without notice.
