Friends of the Walkersville Library (FOWL)

We are a non-profit organization comprised of community members, who volunteer their time and talents to create community fundraisers that provide the Walkersville Library with needed financial resources for monthly programs. On average, each month the Walkersville library designs and produces 100 on-site and 30 off-site free programs. The library staff strives to offer a broad range of quality programs for community members of all ages. Fowl supports their endeavors by creating family fun community-based fund raisers through out the year.

Community involvement is something I’m passionate about. I’m a proud member of the Walkersville Business and Professional Association, and I love participating in Walkersville Day, where I hand out free donuts and get the opportunity to meet residents of the community. I’ve also donated to organizations like Blessings in a Backpack, March of Dimes, Kline Hospice House and local Go Fund Me campaigns. My favorite part of being an Allstate agent is educating customers based on their needs and helping them protect what’s most important to them. My staff and I treat them like family, and we strive to always do what’s best for the customer. We’re proud to serve Walkersville, Frederick and Thurmont, and we’re located on the corner of Maple and West Frederick Street.
