Greasy-Gooney 10K

Come on down to Warren County, Virginia (about 70 miles southwest of Frederick) for the Shenandoah Valley’s most scenic road race! The 24th running of the Greasy-Gooney 10K will take place at 9:00 AM on Saturday 22 October 2022 in Browntown, about eight miles south of Front Royal. Held at the peak of the fall foliage season, our somewhat challenging 6.2 mile course loops through the foothills of the Blue Ridge, treating runners to gorgeous views of the mountains and countryside. We’ll have awards for the top three overall and for the top three in mostly five-year age groups. Entry fees are $30 early and $40 race day with our race premium (an embroidered knit hat) or $24 early/$34 race day without a premium, and all proceeds go to the Browntown Community Center Association and the Humane Society of Warren County.
