Momentous Hip Hop 5K Race

This one is for the culture. Join us this June for the very first Momentous Hip Hop 5k Run. In our inaugural year, we’ll be celebrating the 50th anniversary of hip hop by making the experience all things hip hop. Enjoy the sounds from your favorite artists spun by our DJ throughout the race, take advantage of the giveaways at our expo, and of course what hip hop event would be complete without a dope after party?
The expo will host a number of physical and mental health advocates and businesses where you can learn more about mental health, the mind body connection, and improve your health and fitness!
Race registrants will receive a T-shirt, medal, and access to the expo and after-party at Nationals Park with a live DJ!
Proceeds from the Hip Hop 5K will support mental health programming, resources, and initiatives for the Black community as well as provide scholarship awards to students attending HBCU’s.
