This 5k women’s training program is for beginner, casual and intermediate runners. The program provides the opportunity to improve fitness while learning about running in an encouraging, friendly and collaborative atmosphere.

The 2018 training session begins in June and runs for nine weeks.
This training program is free for Frederick Steeplechaser Running Club members. If you are not currently a member, you may sign up at Frederick Steeplechasers Membership. The membership fee is only $20 and includes a host of benefits! Free Registration link will be posted here in the Spring of 2018
Training sessions are held Monday evenings and Saturday mornings near the Baker Park gazebo in downtown Frederick. See registration page for details.
The goal race of the Summer Women’s 5k training program is the Frederick Women’s Distance Festival. Registration for the training program does not include race registration. Participants who plan to run the goal race must register for the race separately.
