Why are carbohydrates essential to running performance? How much carbohydrate does your body need to perform at your best? Come learn about this essential macro nutrient, what types of carbohydrates are performance enhancers, and hear what the current research says.

Julie Harris is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Personal Trainer. She hold two bachelor’s degrees: one in Exercise Science and one in Nutrition, and a Master’s in Public Health. Julie has a love for running, especially trail running, and has run two marathons, numerous half marathons, and several trail endurance races. She teaches fitness and nutrition classes at Kindred Nutrition and is a Regional Dietitian for Fundamental LTC.
